Following her recent success at the MTV Video Music Awards - where she scooped up three Moon Men - and the successful release of her latest single, "Womanizer," the reinvention of Britney Spears will be aired, documentary-style, on MTV in November.
"I sit there and I'll look back and I'm like: I'm a smart person. What the hell was I thinking?" she says in a clip from the sneak-peek.
In the 90-minute film, whose working title is For the Record, Spears opens up about her tumultuous recent history. "I've been through a lot in the past two or three years, and there's a lot that people don't know," she says.
The documentary looks forward to Britney's much-anticipated second try at a comeback. And although she's been through some rough stuff, Britney says, "It never stopped being fun for me."
MTV will air the documentary on November 30. Britney's forthcoming album, Circus, is slated to hit stores two days later, December 2, her 27th birthday.

Accident-prone Britney Spears was reportedly involved in another car crash after she was pursued by the waiting paparazzi in California.
The star - who is due to stand trial after she was caught driving without a license last year - was being chauffeured through West Hollywood when a photographer's car collided with her vehicle, reports celebrity website TMZ.com.
It is not the first time Spears has been involved in a car crash; in May she allegedly drove her white Mercedes-Benz coupe into a car in Beverly Hills and in September last year, she was charged with hit-and-run and driving without a valid license after crashing into a parked car in a Los Angeles car park.

Britney Spears is set to shock with a handful of saucy alter-egos in her new "Womanizer" video.
The pop superstar will portray herself in saucy lingerie, a leather-clad tattooed waitress and a racy office employee who suggestively straddles a co-worker.
And the singer wigs out with her new video characters, wearing a different hairstyle for each one.
Her sexy secretary boasts a Katie Holmes-style bob, while the waitress boasts an auburn look.
