Nancy is a hero to me the the rest of our family not only because is one of the most amazing people you could ever meet but she has beat the odds in her life. She is not only a miracle to our family, but she is the angel and really has someone watching over her. Nancy is a wonderful inspiration to me and everyone she comes into contact with. She will drop anything to help out a friend, family member, or just a random person. She has been through so much in her life and when you would think a person would quit she stuck with everything. Nancy was diagnosed with colon cancer about 5 years ago. They removed part of her colon and she was told they thought they had been able to find all of the cancer cells and remove them. Two years later, she went in for a routine physical and the physician suggested a chest X-ray, since she hadn't had one in a while. The X-ray showed 3 orange size tumors in her lungs. She went through 2 surgeries to remove them, because it was too delicate a surgery to try to remove all three at the same time. She was later diagnosed with stage 4 cancer. So, she had to undergo months of chemo therapy, which left her weak, unable to eat, and very depressed. She was at a very low point, but tried to hold her head up. With the help of her wonderful husband, who took such good care of her, she pulled through and is now a miracle. The word,
