This woman is now the Godmother of my 2 year old son, but when i met her she was the Office Manager of my job. I was in a very difficult situation, 24 years old pregnant with an abusive boyfriend and thousands of miles from home. She instantly became my rock, guiding me to believe that i was worth more than this nightmare of a life i was living with him. She expressed to me, daily, that there was so much more out there...for all women who believe in themselves and wont accept anything less than progress and perfection. When i finally got the courage to get my own car, my own apartment, and start school, she was there all the way. I named her as my son's Godmother when he was born because i truly believe God touched my life by putting her in it and my son couldnt be in better hands were anything to ever happen to me. Now it's been almost 3 years that i've been at my job, living alone & feeling incredibly empowered. I'm so lucky that she took me in and gave me hope. Thanks guys for reading, i hope she gets something that makes her feel like the special angel she really is.
