Garrett Berns is a high school student at Mountain View. He is a highly motivated student that demonstrates exemplary leadership qualities on campus. He takes students with disabilities under his wing and befriends the insecure. He empowers other students and makes them feel like an important member of the student body. I am nominating Garrett Berns for a Hero award because he is a true hero to many students. He will be graduating this year and has made the most of his high school experience. Unbeknownst to him, he has improved the lives of other students in a big way, and has helped them make the most of their high school experiences as well. He has been an excellent example of a determined student who shoots for his dreams and in addition, encourages others to live up to their highest potential. Please consider this student for a Hero award! Garret is the perfect example of a hero. I can not think of a more worthy person to nominate.
