Hello John Jay and Rich, My hero is my wife Lara Scott. After a very complicated twin pregnancy in which we lost our son Ashton at 19 week, our daughter Aaliyah was born at 24 weeks. My wife stopped everything in her life to start caring for our daughter. She never missed a day in 4 months of going to the hospital all day to learn how to care for our daughter.Since Aaliyah has come home in September, Lara has been more active then ever. She stays home to care for Aaliyah which includes taking her to all of her appointments. Lara has also started a network with other mothers of premature babies. She's is active in our community in fighting for the rights of children with developmental disabilities.
