I would like to nominate my Uncle Phil. He is a hero by how he generously donates his time and resources to so many people. While I was in college and very poor my car that I had since High School had finally broke down. There was no way I could afford to fix it let alone buy another vehicle. At the time I was doing an internship that required me to commute 45 minutes from home. Without any hesitation Phil allowed me to borrow his vehicle for the remainder of my college years until I could afford another vehicle. I can't begin to tell you how his sacrifice helped me graduate college as well as purchase a more reliable vehicle. He also has helped me by sharing his home with me until I can afford a place of my own to live. This is only a small glimpse of the kind man my uncle is to just me. On other occasions I have seen him volunteer to help others from moving apartments to fixing their cars to buying them a meal to picking a shift for you when you are sick. He does this all without even expecting a simple thank you. He truly is a hero because he just swoops in when you need him and before you can even share your gratitude he's moved on to the next person who needs help. I am so impressed in the way he does such amazing things for people he barely knows with such humility. It would mean so much if you would please honor him by having him as the hero of the month.
