Caleb founded his own organization at age 13, named Gays and Lesbians United Against Discrimination. Since, he has reached out to lawmakers in all 50 states to educate them on LGBT issues. Last year, he brought national attention to the issue of anti-gay bullying and by doing so, was able to get the anti-bully policy changed in a west valley school district. In March of this year, Caleb was invited to the first-ever White House Conference on Bullying Prevention. He then went back to Washington DC and spent 35 days walking the halls of Congress and meeting with hundreds of US House Representatives, US Senators and their staff members to promote passage of the Student Non-Discrimination Act. Caleb was invited back to DC for the June 29th White House Pride Reception where he met Vice President Joe Biden and President Obama! At 16, Caleb has made some amazing accomplishments and should be recognized for it!
