I would like to nominate my husband Chris Price. He and I met, fell in love and now have an amazing little boy Everett (2). Chris is a wonderful husband and an even better father. He currently uses his skills as a father working in the pediatric/nicu unit at SHC. At work he cares for sick children and at home he is the best playmate a little boy could ever dream of! Our son is very much a papa\\\'s boy. He and Chris are almost inseparable. However, Chris\\\' dream has always been to serve active duty in the U.S. Army. He wants to contribute to help protect his country and make his son proud. His dream is coming true this year. He will be leaving myself, Everett and the rest of his friends and family to train in basic boot camp in Missouri on Nov 1st. Not only is this going to be hard for him, but Everett and myself also. I have nominated Chris as a hero because I want him to KNOW how proud we are of him. It is important for him to know how much we love and support him through his journey. In addition to being a Private First Class in the U.S. Army Chris is a caring son, a crazy brother, an amazing husband, a fun friend, a DBack\\\'s fan :), and most important of all a loving father. We all need him to know he is our HERO and soon to be the hero of many. We appreciate you Chris and love you very much. Follow your dreams but always come home safe!\r\n\r\nLong time,\r\nAudrey\r\n
