My grandpa Bruce is my ultimate hero! He is a very young guy to be a grandfather, but he's now a great grandfather as well! He helped my mom and supported her when she was only 16 and pregnant with me. Now, I am 18 years old, and he helps take care of my 6 month old everyday. He has 2 children of his own, 5 grandchildren, and one great-grandchild. He is such a family oriented man and accepts others into our family just as one of his own. At only 57 years old, he never stops giving. He is always wanting to learn more and help with anything. In fact, he's actually going back to school! He makes sure all his children are taken care of all the time. He helps support me in whatever it is that I want to do, and as a single mom, I need the support. He wrote an essay about me and earned me a college scholarship from a radio station just like this. Without all his love, help, and support I wouldn't be able to go to nursing school as I am now. He does so much from running his own business to being a leader in his church. He has gone through a lot of hardships from losing a son, losing a father, and losing a mother all within a short period of time. He is an army veteran and he is all about tough love. He never gives up and stays strong for his family. I am so blessed to have this man as my grandfather. He definetley deserves someone to give back to him.
