"Diss tracks" are not just for rappers anymore! Lana Del Rey's song, 'So Legit,' originally recorded in 2009, was just leaked on to the web this week and the artist has some harsh words for Lady Gaga.
Lana makes no mistake of targeting Gaga, with a line explicitly calling her out by her birthname.
"Stefani you suck
I know you're selling 20 million
Wish they could've seen you
When we booed you off in Williamsburg"
The song is nostalgic as it is insulting. 'So legit' references the musicians' roots in Brooklyn. Before being shot to super-stardom Gaga and Del Rey were both managed by Bob Leone and played in the same club circuit in New York.
"What happened to Brooklyn?
What happened to our scene baby?
Have we all gone Gaga crazy?"
Yikes! Some friend.

Honestly it's still so heartbreaking to hear about Cory Monteith...I know I don't seem like a Glee kind of guy, but my Daughter and Girlfriend like it so of course I would watch it with them. It's very sad that he dealt with so many demons, but I do believe he was a sweet, caring and lovely person! A month before his passing his girlfriend Lea Michele sat down with Marie Claire Mexico and talked about Cory...here is what she said...
“It’s more interesting having a relationship with someone you work with because we get more attention because we play boyfriend and girlfriend on the show and we are also in real life. But he is the best person I know, he has made my life so incredible, and I am so thankful for him and not only to have him as a partner but also as a co-worker,” Lea told the magazine about Cory, before his death. “It is important to have someone that supports you and encourage you, someone that makes you feel that you are unstoppable, that you can do anything in the world because you have him.”
I can't imagine what Lea is going through right now but I'm still sending love and good thoughts to her and Cory's family and friends!!
